GameCrew ("the app," "we," "us") is a real-time multiplayer scorekeeping app. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. GameCrew is a shared, networked experience, so unlike a fully on-device app, some game data is transmitted between devices to keep everyone's scoreboard in sync.
To run a live shared scoreboard, GameCrew sends and receives the information needed to connect your crew and keep scores synchronized across every phone in a game. We limit this to what the game itself requires and do not use it for advertising.
This information is shared, in real time, with the other players and spectators in the same game — that is the core function of the app. It is transmitted over the network and synchronized so the scoreboard stays consistent on every device.
When you join a game, your chosen display name and the scores tied to you are visible to other participants in that game. Only join games with people you intend to share this with, and use a display name you're comfortable showing.
Game data is kept only as long as needed to operate and sync an active game and to provide the app's features. You can stop sharing at any time by leaving or ending a game and deleting the app.
We do not sell your personal information, and GameCrew does not use third-party advertising networks.
GameCrew is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date, and the App Store privacy details will be kept consistent with the shipping build.
